• Invoicing and Billing: Prepare, verify, and issue invoices to customers for goods and services provided, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and terms.
• Collections: Monitor aging reports, contact customers regarding overdue payments, and negotiate payment plans when necessary, while maintaining positive customer relations.
• Payment Application: Accurately apply incoming payments to customer accounts, reconcile discrepancies, and resolve unapplied cash issues.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
• Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, statements, and payment status in a professional and timely manner.
• Reporting: Generate and analyze various accounts receivable reports, including aging reports, cash receipts forecasts, and collection metrics.
• Record Keeping: Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions, communications, and customer interactions.
• Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to accounts receivable processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Compliance: Ensure all accounts receivable activities comply with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve billing issues and improve collection efforts.
