Account Clerk

Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Accounting or Finance related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in a related field.
- Proficient in accounting systems (SQL) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Prepare, check, and verify suppliers’ invoices.
- Prepare payment listings and payment requests for approval.
- Ensure accuracy of payment details (company name, bank, account number, and amount).
- Record payments and properly file supporting documents.
- Follow up on outstanding payments according to schedule.
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Issue invoices to customers using the SQL Accounting system.
- Monitor collections and record received payments.
- Prepare aging reports and follow up with customers when necessary.
- Record Keeping & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily accounting records in the SQL Accounting system.
- Organize and file financial documents (invoices, receipts, statements of account, vouchers).
- Ensure proper documentation for easy reference and audit purposes.
- Bank & Reconciliation
- Assist in preparing monthly bank reconciliations.
- Review bank transactions and ensure records are aligned with the SQL Accounting system.
- Accounting & Audit Support
- Assist the accountant in preparing financial reports.
- Prepare supporting documents for internal and external audits.
- Assist in maintaining schedules for instalments, rentals, and recurring commitments.
- Administrative & Ad hoc Duties
- Perform accounting-related ad hoc tasks when required.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and relevant parties on accounting matters.
- Support daily finance and accounting operations.
- Training & System
- On-the-job training will be provided.
- Training on the SQL Accounting system will be conducted.
- Suitable for junior candidates or fresh graduates who are willing to learn.
