Requirements
  • Minimum education: Diploma and above
  • 3–5 years of HR generalist experience, ideally within a multi-outlet or multi-brand F&B or retail business.
  • Proven ability to manage recruitment cycles, HR operations, and stakeholder expectations simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth, agile, and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.
  • High integrity, discretion, and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Strong ambition to lead the HR function and grow with the company.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for outlet leadership (managers, assistant managers, supervisors) and corporate roles.
  • Assist in driving the culture of performance with outlet managers and the management team.
  • Involved in assisting in developing and implementing learning and development programs that empower outlet and mid-level leaders to thrive.
  • Create systems, frameworks, and SOPs that ensure long-term talent sustainability.
  • Lead in ensuring all payroll and compliance with HR regulations are in order.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Lead and manage the recruitment process for outlet leadership roles (managers, assistant managers, supervisors), key operational staff, and selected corporate hires.
  • Build and maintain a reliable candidate pipeline aligned to projected outlet and brand expansion plans.
  • Streamline hiring processes to reduce time-to-hire and enhance candidate experience.
  • Plan and implement workforce planning strategies that support rapid business growth.
  1. Performance Management & Culture Building
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring performance management frameworks across the organization.
  • Support outlet managers in managing probation reviews, setting KPIs, and creating development plans.
  • Act as a key contact for promoting employee engagement and embedding performance culture at all levels.
  1. Learning & Development Execution
  • Organize and track delivery of L&D programs for outlet managers and high-potential staff.
  • Support the development of competency-based frameworks and training documentation.
  • Conduct needs assessments and propose improvements to support ongoing leadership development.
  1. HR Administration, Policy, Payroll and Compliance
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee records, contracts, HR policies, and statutory compliance.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of SOPs, HR processes, and reporting systems.
  • Coordinate HR audits and ensure readiness for scaling operations and external investment.
  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices in line with Malaysian labor laws and evolving business needs.
  • Familiar with the Employment Act and other regulatory requirements from statutory bodies.
  1. Strategic HR Development & Future Leadership
  • Work directly with the Director to design the future structure of the HR department.
  • Support in the identification and implementation of HR technologies and tools.
  • Prepare to assume broader HR leadership responsibilities as the company grows into new markets.
