Our client is a leading automotive technology company and Southeast Asia’s largest online used car marketplace. Founded in 2015, they have grown rapidly by offering a full digital ecosystem for vehicle transactions, including buying, selling, financing, insurance, and after-sales services.
In Malaysia, our client originally operated under a different brand name and became a key player in the digital used car industry since its launch in 2018. The platform gained traction for streamlining the car ownership journey through innovative solutions such as AI-powered pricing tools, digital inspections, and end-to-end customer services.
As our business expands across the region, we're looking for a Telemarketing Asst Manager / Manager to help lead and grow our telemarketing operations in Malaysia. You’ll play a key role in managing the team, driving sales, and ensuring excellent customer engagement across markets.
You will report directly to the Senior Manager, Telemarketing, and be based regionally, with extensive travel required.
Your responsibility include:
Team Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate telemarketing agents across multiple countries to hit sales and service targets.
Sales & Campaign Strategy:Plan and execute region-specific telemarketing campaigns. Analyze market trends and work with sales and marketing to boost performance.
Performance Monitoring: Track key sales KPIs (calls, conversions, customer satisfaction). Provide regular performance reports and action plans.
Customer Engagement: Maintain professional and high-quality customer interactions. Resolve issues and look for upselling opportunities.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to align strategies and follow up on leads.
Process & Innovation:Improve telemarketing systems, suggest tools to enhance team productivity, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Budget Management: Oversee telemarketing budgets and ensure efficient use of resources and technologies.
Telemarketing Strategy:
Develop and implement telemarketing campaigns tailored to the regional market, in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams. o Analyze regional market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine and optimize telemarketing strategies.o Ensure telemarketing efforts support broader regional sales objectives, customer retention, and lead generation.
