E-Commerce Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Operations Manager to lead our Malaysian operations team. This pivotal role will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of our e-commerce fulfillment process, from order processing to customer service, while managing platform financials and maintaining strong communication with our Chinese partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage and develop a small but growing operations team (currently 2 members) responsible for order fulfillment and customer service
• Order Management: Oversee the complete order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers
• Financial Coordination: Handle platform fees, transaction costs, and commission structures across multiple e-commerce platforms Marketplace, coordinating with the accounting department
• Customer Service: Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction through efficient problem resolution and proactive communication
• International Collaboration: Work closely with Chinese partners on strategy alignment, inventory management, and business development
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular performance reports to management, highlighting KPIs, challenges, and improvement opportunities
• Process Optimization: Continuously identify ways to streamline operations and improve efficiency
• 3+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, preferably in a management role
• Proven track record in managing order fulfillment processes and customer service teams
• Strong understanding of major Southeast Asian e-commerce platforms (Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop)
• Excellent financial acumen with experience in reconciling platform transactions and fees
• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English is essential; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-cultural collaboration
• Bachelor's degree in Business, E-commerce, Supply Chain Management or related field
