Accounting Analyst

Must have experience in Bank Reconciliation, general ledger

• Accountable for smaller entities and has a good understanding of the nature of the business and the economic environment in order to execute activities effectively.
• Coordinate timely and accurate recording of financial transactions (e.g. ledger entries, journal postings etc.) in line with relevant requirements, policies and procedures.
• Deliver group financial reporting activities for the entities assigned and support the timely and accurate delivery of financial close while ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and controls.
• Monitor smaller volumes of open and overdue items and follow-up with the appropriate parties for clearance.
• Perform less complex reconciliation and reports; validate data, identify root causes of any discrepancies.
• Resolve normal operational issues or further escalate any complex issues to line manager or relevant business stakeholders.
• Partner with business stakeholders in attaining a good understanding of the general ledger and group reporting.
• Liaise with other FBT internal teams on cross centre activities.
• Liaise with stakeholders internally and externally as and when necessary.
