Assistant Manager, Electrical (Mandarin Speaker)
Malaysia Steel Works (KL) Bhd Kajang Full-time
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant working experience in industrial or manufacturing environments (steel industry experience is an added advantage).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, automation, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and maintenance reporting tools.
- Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin to deal with China’s Expatriates
- Willing to travel to Kawasan Perindustrian Bukit Raja, Klang
- In charge of electrical maintenance for the melt shop and rolling mill
- Ensure that the company's Quality System procedure and work instructions are implemented and maintained according to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001
- Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for all electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults promptly to minimize downtime and production disruptions.
- Manage and maintain electrical spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components while optimizing stock levels.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing electrical systems, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing overall equipment reliability
