Supplier Quality Engineer

Work Experience Requirements:

• Familiarity with and understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and the use of quality tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), and other quality improvement methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and high level of computer literacy.

Education Requirements:

• Collaborating with suppliers to develop and implement quality assurance processes, performing audits, resolving quality issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• As the primary liaison between the company and its suppliers on quality matters.
• Participate in supplier evaluations within the procurement resource pool and new supplier areas to produce evaluation reports.
• Conduct audits of existing and new suppliers based on procurement resource requirement, follow up to ensure issues identified in the audits are resolved.
• Identify and convert quality information according to the requirements of new projects and ensure effectiveness communication of the information.
• Participate in the development of supplier audit content and plans and ensure the implementation of supplier audit content.
• Conduct periodic on-site audits of suppliers based on their corrective actions to ensure the effectiveness of the actions.
