About the role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our team at AppAsia Berhad in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time internship opportunity that will provide you with hands-on experience in the accounting field and exposure to the inner workings of a dynamic and innovative technology company.
What you'll be doing- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Performing account reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Helping with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Supporting the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
- Gaining experience in the use of accounting software and other relevant tools.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- A fast learner with a positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.
