Credit Recovery Executive

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred)

Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in collections, customer service, or a call center environment (preferred)
• Fresh graduate is welcome to apply

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Good conflict resolution and interpersonal skills

Knowledge:

• Understanding of billing procedures and collection techniques
• Knowledge of data protection and privacy laws

Contact Debtors:

• Call, email, or send letters to customers with overdue accounts.
• Maintain professionalism while discussing sensitive financial matters.
• Negotiate Payment Plans:
• Work with debtors to create manageable repayment solutions.
• Offer settlement options or discounts (if authorized by the company).

Record Keeping:

• Document all communication with debtors.
• Update databases with payment status and notes.

Follow Legal and Ethical Guidelines:

• Comply with laws like the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) or other local regulations.
• Avoid harassment or aggressive behavior.

Skip Tracing:

• Use tools to locate individuals who’ve changed contact info (if necessary).
• Collaborate with Internal Teams:
• Coordinate with finance, legal, or customer service departments for case reviews.
