Accounting Clerk

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of proven experience in an accounts assistant or similar role.
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliation.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.
- Experience in assisting with financial reporting and month-end close procedures.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, onsite environment within a large organization.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and maintain financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support the accounting team with data entry, document filing, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, report generation, and financial modeling.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
