Apprentice Chef

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or a related discipline.
• Those without the qualification above but have at least minimum 2 year’s of experience in F&B / Kitchen Operations can be considered.
• Willing to work weekends & Public Holidays.
• Work location: Foodies Nest, The Starling Mall.
• Certificate in Food Handling and Vaccination Card (Typhoid)

Responsibilities:

• To assist in planning and executing the menu.
• Assist in food preparation, presentation and cooking of local cuisines according to recipes and specifications.
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of food preparation areas, cooking surface and utensils used through good sanitation and organization skills.
• Ensure and upkeep the freshness and quality of food items through stock management.
• To coordinate and control the activity of the overall kitchen.
• To attend and contribute the daily kitchen meeting.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management.
