About the Role ...

As a Trade Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for executing retailer-exclusive and channel-specific programs to boost brand presence and shopper engagement. This role involves heavy cross-functional collaboration to ensure the seamless rollout of trade initiatives and new product launches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute trade promotions and in-store campaigns to drive offtake and shopper engagement.
  • Manage Point of Sale (POS) visibility and conduct regular visits to ensure planogram compliance.
  • Lead sampling execution in coordination with the sales team and managed external agencies.
  • Review and update planograms quarterly based on market and shopper insights.
  • Assist in developing channel strategies and annual trade marketing plans to reach sales targets.
  • Analyze sales performance and market data to identify growth opportunities and gaps.
  • Support new product development (NPD) launches by preparing sales bulletins, launch decks, and 360-degree trade plans.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams for the execution of channel-wide initiatives.
  • Gather and provide competitor insights to support broader marketing strategies.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to explore new partnerships.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in channel management, sales, or business development within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG distribution channels and retail dynamics.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Proactive, independent worker with a passion for innovation and results.
