The compliance specialist is a crucial and important position for any Registry / Registrar in the domain name industry, as the specialist ensures that the relevant laws and industry policies are complied. With that in mind, we are offering an opportunity for both experience and non-experience applicants to learn the ropes of a compliance specialist and develop a positive career progression in the domain name industry, through structured trainings and mentorship.

We are looking for someone who is independent, professional, confident, meticulous and analytical.

The compliance specialist will be responsible for the following duties:

  1. Complaint and Abuse Report Management:· Investigate, address and resolve complaints and abuse reports involving domain names relating to intellectual property infringements and illegal / unlawful activities, amongst others.· Handle complaints and abuse reports from various sources, including the online reporting system, email, industry partners, etc.· Ensure that complaints and abuse reports are handled and addressed in accordance with the procedures and related industry policies.
  2. Administrative Management:· Prepare and submit required reports to superiors as required.· Ensure that complaints and abuse reports are properly documented.· Any other matters as requested by the team leader or department manager.
