What you'll do:
As a Senior Finance Manager based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be instrumental in leading transformative projects that redefine how financial operations are conducted.- Drive process transformation initiatives within the Finance Department by identifying areas for improvement and implementing AI-driven tools, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and advanced analytics solutions
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to oversee the successful adoption of digital finance tools, automation projects, and transformation strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency
- Partner with IT and other departments to propose, evaluate, select, and implement system enhancements that align with business objectives and facilitate informed decision making
- Champion the use of data analytics platforms such as SAS (Statistical Analysis Suite) to improve financial reporting accuracy and provide actionable insights for strategic planning
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members on the effective use of AI applications and digital finance tools to foster widespread adoption and proficiency within the department
- Monitor industry trends related to technology advances in finance, ensuring that best practices are incorporated into ongoing projects and daily operations
- Support audit processes by ensuring robust controls are maintained throughout all automated systems and workflows.
- Oversee core accounting functions such as invoicing, reconciliation, accounts payable, and ensure these processes benefit from automation where possible
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to encourage continuous learning among team members regarding new technologies relevant to finance operations
What you bring:

- Demonstrated familiarity with accounting software packages or RPA tools such as SAP, Oracle or UiPath is highly desirable for success in this role.
- A keen interest in staying up-to-date with emerging technologies relevant to finance operations is important for ongoing effectiveness.
- Experience working on system improvement projects within a finance function will be advantageous when overseeing transformation initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams including IT professionals and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills are needed to clearly articulate project goals and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
