Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 6 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role.
  • Exhibit strong proficiency in both written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce and stakeholders.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of Malaysian labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance across all HR practices.
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Exhibit strong technical knowledge of HRIS systems and software, with experience in .Net Core preferred, to streamline HR processes and data management.
  • Display a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify and address HR challenges effectively.
  • Demonstrate experience in managing employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Possess strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibit a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist the HR Manager in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, contributing to the achievement of organizational goals.
  • Manage the full spectrum of recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities, ensuring a positive candidate experience and efficient hiring process.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing, benefits enrollment, and leave management, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Oversee employee relations matters, including addressing employee grievances, conducting investigations, and providing guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Support performance management processes, including performance appraisals, goal setting, and development planning, ensuring fair and consistent evaluation and development of employees.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, contributing to employee growth and organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, staying abreast of changes and implementing necessary updates to HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide support and guidance to managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary actions, ensuring consistent and fair application of HR policies.
  • Manage employee separation processes, including conducting exit interviews and processing termination paperwork, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Experienced HR Assistant Manager with a strong background in the construction industry, skilled in workforce planning, labor compliance, and employee relations, with a proven ability to manage site-based HR operations, support recruitment for skilled trades, and ensure adherence to safety and labor regulations.
