Sales & Marketing Executive

Office Location: Jalan Kelawai 163, George Town, Pulau Pinang Malaysia

This role requires someone who is confident in cold calling, offline meetings, building new connections and actively pursuing business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

• Conduct cold calling and follow-up calls to reach potential clients
• Actively seek new business opportunities in both corporate and private event markets
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Prepare and present persuasive sales presentations and proposals
• Conduct market research to identify trends and growth opportunities

1. Client Management

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the event planning and execution process
• Provide professional and responsive service to ensure customer satisfaction

1. Event Planning & Coordination

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth event planning and execution
• Oversee event decoration process, including venue setup, catering, audio visual and other services
• Ensure timely delivery of events within budget and align with client needs

1. Administrative & Reporting

• Maintain accurate sales records, client information and event details
• Prepare quotation, sales invoices and reports for management
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Proven experience in active sales, preferably in the event industry
• Background in Marketing, Event Management, or Business is an advantage
• Comfortable making outbound calls and meeting clients in person
• Strong verbal communication and persuasive skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Self-motivated, initiative and a strong client-first mindset
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Willing to travel and work on weekends (if needed for events)
