Civil Engineer

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

• 8–10 years of relevant civil engineering experience, with exposure to RE projects considered an advantage
• Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and familiarity with geotechnical and structural analysis tools
• Strong technical knowledge in grading, drainage, stormwater management, soil mechanics, and foundation engineering
• Experience working with regulatory bodies, consultants, and contractors in the context of energy or infrastructure projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage concurrent projects and deliver high-quality outcomes within time and budget constraints
• Familiarity with local engineering codes, industry standards, and environmental guidelines related to civil works for energy projects
• Lead the civil engineering design and coordination efforts for utility-scale RE projects, ensuring alignment with technical, regulatory, and project delivery requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil engineering components with permitting, environmental constraints, electrical layouts, and construction methodologies
• Develop and review detailed civil engineering drawings, technical specifications, design reports, and BOQs in accordance with local regulations, safety codes, and sustainability principles
• Liaise with authorities, consultants, and stakeholders to secure necessary permits and approvals for site development and infrastructure works
• Oversee and conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and impact evaluations to inform site selection and project planning
• Perform and review structural analyses, soil investigations, and foundation designs to ensure reliable and cost-effective infrastructure solutions
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress reviews to verify construction works comply with approved designs and quality standards
• Support projects across the full life cycle, from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design, construction, commissioning, and operational handover
