Education: Professional Certificate / Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or Construction Management.
Experience: Often 2–5 years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in, tender documentation, or site measurement. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Word, Familiarity with software like AutoCAD is highly regarded.
Soft Skills:Detail-oriented, strong analytical skills, good communication (written and verbal), ability to work under pressure, and strong team player.- Assist in the preparation and management of Bills of Quantities (BoQ) for various construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Support senior quantity surveyors in cost estimation, budget preparation, and financial forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Help senior quantity surveyor in tender document preparation.
- Assist in the valuation of work done, processing interim payment applications, and preparing final accounts in accordance with contractual terms.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure work on schedule and cost control measures are effectively implemented and project objectives are met.
