Social Media Content Writer

1. Develop, write, and edit content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and others.
2. Create and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and engagement across all platforms.
3. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with overall marketing campaigns and strategies.
4. Monitor and respond to audience engagement, including comments and messages, in a timely and professional manner when necessary.
5. Analyze social media metrics to evaluate content performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
6. Research industry trends and audience preferences to produce relevant and relatable content.
7. Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice and tone.
8. Stay updated on the latest social media tools, trends, and best practices to optimize content creation and distribution.
9. Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and other team members to produce multimedia content.
10. Assist in managing paid social media campaigns, including drafting ad copy and coordinating with the marketing team.

1. Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in writing for social media, with a strong portfolio of past work.
3. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
4. Familiarity with social media platforms and their specific content requirements.
5. Creative thinker with the ability to generate fresh, engaging ideas.
6. Strong understanding of social media metrics and how to interpret data to inform content strategy.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
9. Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Fanpage Karma, Brandmention ) is a plus.
