Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer (Civil & Structural) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring civil and structural works on construction projects. The role ensures works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, schedule, safety standards, and quality requirements while coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in civil & structural construction works
• Familiar with construction drawings, specifications, and site coordination
• Knowledge of local authority requirements, codes, and standards
• Able to work independently and under tight project timelines
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
• Willing to be site-based

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):

• Experience in high-rise, infrastructure, or building projects
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and method statements
• Exposure to progress monitoring, variation orders, and project documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, execution, and monitoring of civil & structural works
• Review and coordinate construction drawings, method statements, and material submissions
• Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and QA/QC standards
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal site teams
• Monitor project progress, identify issues, and propose corrective actions
• Ensure works comply with safety regulations and company HSE requirements
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and technical discussions
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and technical documentation
• Assist in cost control, variation works, and claims related to civil & structural works
