Firststep is an integrated child health and development group — combining Child Specialist Clinics with a Psychology and Child Development Centre under one roof. We serve the same child and family across clinical and developmental needs, which makes us genuinely different from standalone clinics or therapy centres.We're growing and looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
Your mission
Build the referral partnerships, clinical talent pipeline, and product opportunities that power Firststep's next phase of growth. This is a ground-level role with direct visibility to the CEO — your work will be seen and your impact will be measurable.
Job Requirements- 1–3 years in BD, partnerships, education sales, or community outreach
- Comfortable with cold outreach — calling a kindergarten principal or following up a warm lead
- Organised and self-driven — able to manage multiple tracks without constant supervision
- Genuine interest in child health, development, or education
- Based in KL/PJ with own transport for field visits
- Identify, reach out to, and build relationships with kindergartens, preschools, and parenting communities
- Arrange and coordinate talks, workshops, and collaboration activities
- Follow up on CDC enquiries (WhatsApp, call) and convert to booked assessments
- Track conversion rate from enquiry to attended assessment
- Maintain a structured partner database and track engagement consistently
- Source and engage clinical psychologists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists
- Build and maintain a live candidate database (part-time and full-time)
- Reach out via LinkedIn, referrals, job platforms, and clinical networks
- Coordinate interview scheduling and follow-ups with management
- Research and identify child health and developmental products for e-commerce and clinic
- Source suppliers and compare pricing, MOQ, and margins
- Present viable opportunities to the e-commerce team for evaluation
- Track all outreach and progress across partnerships, therapist sourcing, and product opportunities
- Maintain organised records and provide weekly pipeline updates
