Junior ServiceNow Developer - Johor Bahru
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior ServiceNow Developer to join our growing IT team. In this role, you will support the development, configuration, and ongoing enhancement of the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on Customer Service Management (CSM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) modules.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules including Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request, and Case Management (CSM).
- Develop and maintain service portals, catalog items, knowledge bases, and other user-facing components.
- Implement basic JavaScript-based business rules, UI policies, client/server scripts, and workflows.
- Participate in platform testing, debugging, and documentation of configurations and customizations.
- Help maintain, optimize, and upgrade ServiceNow instances, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with team members, business analysts, and stakeholders in development cycles.
- Provide end-user support, assisting with troubleshooting and resolution of ServiceNow-related issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Understanding of ITIL Foundation concepts and how they apply within ServiceNow. ITIL Foundation certification will be advantageous.
Completion of ServiceNow Fundamentals or CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification.
Basic proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
