About the role
Astino Agro-House Multi System Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Draughtman to join our team in Sungai Bakap, Penang. This full-time position will play a crucial role in our Engineering department, responsible for providing high-quality technical drawings and designs to support our manufacturing operations.
What you'll be doing- Create detailed drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Develop 2D and 3D models based on project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand design intentions and project objectives.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, and revisions.
- Organize and archive project files for easy retrieval and reference.
- Review technical drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Update drawings and documentation based on project changes or client requests.
- Maintain a record of all revisions and ensure that all team members are informed of updates.
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Engineering Drafting or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar draughting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Proficient in using CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and precise technical drawings
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret engineering requirements
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
