- Maintain accurate inventory records of medications and pharmaceutical supplies, including monitoring stock levels, ordering new supplies, and managing expired medications.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients with their medication-related inquiries, offering advice on over-the-counter products, and processing transactions.
- Prepare and label medications for dispensing, including counting pills, measuring liquids, and packaging medications according to established procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, including stocking shelves, cleaning equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of sterile products, such as intravenous medications, under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, escalating issues to the pharmacist when necessary.
