Regional Business Development Manager (Sutures, APAC)
The successful candidate will manage complex market research projects, develop portfolio strategies, and build long-term relationships with clients.
What you'll do:
As a Regional Business Manager for Sutures and Biosurgicals in the Asia Pacific region, you will be at the forefront of our client's business development initiatives. Your role will involve identifying and pursuing opportunities that align with the organisation's goals.You will manage complex market research projects, evaluating findings and making strategic recommendations to senior management. Collaborating with local markets, you will develop portfolio strategies aimed at expanding market share and optimising pricing.
Your ability to establish long-term professional relationships will be crucial in promoting the organisation's products and services.
- Identify, research, evaluate, and pursue business development opportunities
- Manage complex market research or analysis projects; evaluate findings, prepare reports, and make recommendations to senior management
- Develop and drive portfolio strategy in collaboration with the local market
- Develop the positioning, pricing, and marketing strategy for new products
- Establish long-term professional relationships with potential clients, customers, and partners
- Conduct training and presentations to existing and potential customers
- Plan and execute product-related events on a regular basis
- Work closely with the Supply Chain team to manage inventory
What you bring:
As the ideal candidate for this Regional Business Manager position, you bring a wealth of experience in sales, marketing or business development within sutures and biosurgicals. With your bachelor’s degree complemented by at least 5 years of relevant experience, you have proven your ability to plan and execute 3-year business plans as well as manage product launches and campaigns.Your experience extends to the product listing and tender process, and you are adept at organising internal training sessions, external workshops and continuing medical education for the sutures business. Your understanding of OT cases and various surgical procedures will be invaluable in this role, as will your exposure to business development within the Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of sales and marketing or business development experience in sutures and biosurgicals
- Experience in planning and executing a 3-year business plan, managing product launches and campaigns
- Experience in the product listing and tender process
- Able to organise internal training sessions, external workshops and continuing medical education for the sutures business
- Experience supporting OT cases and understanding of various surgical procedures
- Exposure in business development and a good understanding of Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets
