Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or architecture industry is preferred
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Able to communicate in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and project control techniques
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Able travel to project sites for measurements and reporting
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects
- Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Monitoring and controlling project costs, identifying potential savings opportunities
- Preparing progress and final accounts, as well as variation orders and claims
- Advising the project team on contractual and commercial matters
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards
- Providing cost-effective solutions and recommendations to improve project profitability
