Tax Assistant - Bukit Mertajam

Degree in Accounting, Professional Qualification e.g. ACCA, ICAEW, CTIM & relevant qualification

• Good in Excel & Words
• Able to speak & write English, Mandarin & BM
• Candidate must be highly motivated with a good working attitude and hardworking.

• Must be able to deal and communicate with clients effectively and confidently
• Tax Compliance:
• Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Support in compiling and maintaining proper documentation for tax audits and reviews.
• Client Support:
• Collaborate with the Assistant Tax Manager to understand client needs and provide accurate solutions.
• Address client queries related to tax matters promptly and professionally.
• Portfolio Management:
• Assist in managing assigned portfolios by tracking deadlines and progress.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards before submission to the Assistant Tax Manager.
• Team Collaboration:
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff in preparing tax computations and documentation.
• Review junior team members' work to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
