Social media executives brainstorm, create, and publish content across a company’s social media channels. Their primary focus is crafting engaging and innovative digital content tailored for various social media platforms. You will report to the social media manager and collaborate with the digital marketing team to develop a social media marketing strategy aimed at enhancing customer engagement and brand recognition.

  1. Collaborate closely with our social brand manager on the client's social media accounts.
  2. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the client's business goals and advertising approach.
  3. Develop and implement cross-content strategies through competitive research, benchmarking, messaging, and target audience identification.
  4. Utilize measurement tools to generate progress reports and extract insights, while consistently seeking ways to enhance metrics through experimentation and new initiatives.
  5. Formulate editorial calendars and syndication plans.
  6. Coordinate with the Creative Department to provide design guidance for promotional materials, marketing kits, websites, product packaging, and other visual communication content for the company.
  7. Identify target audiences and assess their characteristics, behaviors, and habits.
  8. Conduct research and analyze data using specialized industry resources.
  9. Proactively and creatively spot and innovate social media trends and opportunities.
  10. Monitor and optimize the effectiveness of campaigns.
  11. Maintain records and prepare periodic reports as needed for assigned accounts.
  12. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Degree in marketing, communication studies, journalism, creative writing, or similar.
  • Min 2-3 years experience as a social media executive at a similar or related role.
  • Min of 2-3 years of agency experience.
  • Expert knowledge of all leading social media sites, including their algorithms.
  • Firm grasp of Hootsuite and its integrations.
  • In-depth understanding of the processes surrounding the creation and distribution of paid advertisements.
  • Ability to create authoritative and persuasive texts.
  • Flexible and engaging writing style.
  • Knowledge of pertinent engagement metrics.
  • Appreciation for novel insights and ideas.
