Production Technician

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.

• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions to assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and machines.
• Utilize hand and power tools, as well as measuring equipment, to assemble parts accurately and efficiently.
• Perform precision assembly tasks, such as aligning and fitting components, fastening parts, and adjusting mechanisms.
• Verify the quality and functionality of assembled components through visual inspection and testing procedures.
• Adhere to quality control procedures and standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of assembled products.
• Identify and report any defects, discrepancies, or non-conformities during the assembly process.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to resolve issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of assembly activities, including inspection reports and test results.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices for mechanical assembly.
• Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials, if applicable, in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance assembly efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for optimizing assembly procedures, tooling, and equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement design changes and improvements.

Job Objective:

The Production Technician will be responsible for assembling and testing mechanical components, subassemblies, and machines according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Working Condition:

• Standard production environment, you will find different zones like assembly lines, workshops, warehouses, quality assurance rooms, testing areas and additional areas.
• Additional hours may be necessary to handle emergencies, heavy workloads or other issues, upon request.
