Account Executive (Junior)
Hometaste Petaling Jaya Full-time
Handle full set of accounts including journal entries, general ledger, trial balance, balance sheet and P&L
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial and management reports
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records
- Assist in accounting entries such as accruals, depreciation, hire purchase, leasing and loan transactions
- Support cash flow monitoring and reporting
- Assist in SST and tax-related matters where required
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents and relevant authorities
- Assist in audit processes and preparation of audit schedules
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Accounting or any other equivalent qualification.
- Work with SQL software (prior experience a plus)
- Fluent in Mandarin and English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Have internship experience in related field
- Analytical, meticulous and independent with good inter-personal skills
- Committed, disciplined and have strong sense of responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate financial closing and compliance with local statutory requirements / accounting standards
- Other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the Senior Account Executive
