Job Summary】
The Group Procurement Senior Executive is responsible for overseeing and executing all procurement and expediting activities to support the steel fabrication manufacturing operations. This includes sourcing raw materials, consumables, and subcontracted services efficiently and cost-effectively, in alignment with production schedules and project requirements.A key focus of this role is to establish and implement standardized procurement procedures that comply with ISO manufacturing standards. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, warehouse, and finance.
Over time, this role will expand into supporting group-wide procurement standardization and shared services initiatives across the Group.
【Job Responsibilities】- Procurement Management
- Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to manufacturing needs.
- Establish and manage a reliable supplier base; conduct evaluations and maintain strong relationships.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to accurately capture material and service requirements.
- Conduct negotiations to secure favorable terms; ensure timely resolution of supplier-related issues.
- Conduct ongoing market research to stay updated on industry trends and new suppliers.
- Manage procurement risks related to price volatility, supplier delays, and material shortages.
- Procurement Process Standardization & ISO Compliance
- Develop and document standardized procurement processes and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with ISO manufacturing standards, including documentation and traceability.
- Support internal and external audit readiness by maintaining proper procurement records.
- Promote sustainable procurement practices, including waste minimization, material recycling, and supplier selection based on environmental performance.
- Supply Chain Optimization
- Manage both local and international logistics, including shipping and customs clearance.
- Oversee full-cycle procurement for both direct and indirect items including overheads, training, and consumables.
- Continuously streamline procurement activities for better efficiency and cost management.
- Warehouse & Inventory Coordination
- Collaborate with warehouse in-charge to monitor inventory levels, avoid stockouts or overstock.
- Support warehouse operations through timely procurement and efficient inventory management practices.
- Implement best practices in material tracking, receiving, and stock management.
- Cost Management
- Assist in preparing and managing the annual procurement budget.
- Analyze spending trends and implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality.
- Track price fluctuations and update stakeholders accordingly.
- Delivery Time Optimization
- Work closely with production planning to align procurement schedules with fabrication timelines.
- Identify bottlenecks and proactively mitigate risks that may impact on-time delivery.
- Monitor and improve supplier lead times to enhance production throughout.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Serve as a liaison between procurement, engineering, production, warehouse, and finance teams.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant environmental regulations and safety standards, including those mandated by the Department of Environment (DOE) and other local authorities.
- Work closely with the EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) or facility teams to source environmentally friendly materials and ensure proper disposal of hazardous substances.
- Ensure procurement activities are aligned with the company’s e-invoicing and financial reporting systems.
- Facilitate timely supplier payments and support month-end reporting processes.
- Reporting & Data Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on procurement KPIs, inventory turnover, and supplier performance.
- Use data analytics to improve procurement planning, forecasting, and stock optimization.
- Maintain documentation and supplier declarations related to material safety data, chemical usage, and environmental impact, in line with ISO and DOE requirements.
- Support environmental audits by ensuring procurement records and practices demonstrate adherence to sustainability and legal compliance.

- Possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Purchasing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Min 3 years experience as Procurement or Purchasing executive
- Must be from steel fabrication / steel / automation / industrial parts industry.
- Basic knowledge of full procurement process.
- Must have own transport and driving license (because is not accessible by public transport)
- Experience dealing with suppliers.
- Have experience in handling full procurement process.
