Data Center Infrastructure Project Delivery Specialist

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or above (field of study is flexible; preference for majors in electromechanical engineering, construction management, or related fields; exceptional candidates may be considered with an associate degree or higher).

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data center construction, general contracting, or electromechanical subcontracting.
• Experience with Alibaba data center construction or ecosystem projects is preferred. Overseas construction experience is a plus.
• Deep involvement in the full-cycle construction and handover of data center projects.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of data center construction fundamentals, including electrical, HVAC, low-voltage systems, fire protection, civil engineering, and finishing works.
• Familiarity with the roles and responsibilities of various construction stakeholders (including contractors and subcontractors) and strong project management capabilities.
• Understanding of construction workflows and interfaces, with the ability to identify key control points in concealed works, subproject inspections, and final project acceptance.
• Knowledge of the key elements of project delivery—"people, resources, materials, methods, and environment"—with the corresponding empathy to manage them effectively.
• Externally, possess sharp logical thinking, analytical and judgment skills, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
• Internally, demonstrate excellent communication and coordination skills to drive cross-departmental collaboration.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Organize project inspections and acceptances, as well as the acceptance of materials and equipment upon arrival, ensuring delivery quality.
2. Lead and manage the delivery of IDC (Internet Data Center) construction projects, ensuring compliance with company requirements for schedule, quality, safety, and other key aspects.

Key Tasks:

1. Assist in the management and operation of the full lifecycle of IDC construction projects, including design, procurement, construction management (schedule, quality, safety, process management), testing and commissioning, operations, and administrative handover. Provide on-site management services to ensure efficient IDC delivery.
2. Monitor construction progress and the achievement of key project milestones. Regularly report on project timelines and address any delays.
3. Collaborate with the technical team to oversee construction quality.
