Internship Content Writer (English)

We’re on the lookout for two Content Writer Interns (English) to join our content team. If you're a wordsmith with a flair for crafting relatable, emotionally intelligent, and share-worthy content, this might just be your next favourite internship!

• Write snappy, engaging and relatable articles for a female lifestyle platform.
• Some copywriting.
• Collaborate with editors to shape raw ideas or community stories into strong narratives.
• Contribute to scriptwriting for social media reels or short video content.
• Help brainstorm and develop new content themes and UGC prompts (e.g.,“What’s one thing you no longer apologise for?”).
• Help with light visual editing for stories or social posts (Canva is our BFF) as needed.
• Are currently studying or recently graduated in Journalism, Mass Comm, Media, English, or related fields.
• Have excellent command of written English (bonus if you're good with Bahasa Malaysia too!).
• Have a strong interest in women’s issues, lifestyle content, identity, self-care, relationships, and all things real talk.
• Enjoy writing raw, heartfelt, punchy, or empowering content that speaks to Gen Z and Millennials.
• Are comfortable with researching and simplifying complex topics into easily-digestible reads.
• Are familiar with (or willing to learn!) content trends on IG, FB, TikTok, and blog formats.
• Have a good eye for what makes a quote go viral or a reel get shared.
• Know your way around AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva).
• Bonus: You’ve dabbled in some copywriting (e.g., for captions, ads, or website banners).
