Warehouse Supervisor
CM Supreme Ceramics (M) Sdn Bhd Kajang Full-time
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the manufacturing or ceramics industry.
- Proven ability to manage and oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and techniques to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Strong understanding of logistics coordination, including managing inbound and outbound shipments and liaising with transportation providers.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining efficient stock control procedures to optimize warehouse space and product flow.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively interact with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, onsite environment in Sungai Buloh.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices within a warehouse setting.
- Oversee and manage all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
- Implement and maintain efficient stock control procedures to ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation scheduling and carrier management, to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts, identifying and resolving any variances to maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Develop and implement warehouse safety procedures and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including stock movements, deliveries, and returns, using the company's inventory management system.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and procurement, to ensure smooth supply chain flow and meet customer demands.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the warehouse and implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
