Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and creative UI/UX Designer with a strong emphasis on user experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing user-centric digital products and a keen eye for detail. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance our mentoring platform.Proficiency in Figma and Miro is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
User Research & Insights- Conduct user interviews and collect feedback to understand user needs and pain points.
- Analyze user research findings and distill actionable insights to share with the team.
- Create flow reports and track effectiveness of designs through feedback loops and UX success metrics.
- Sketch and prototype design ideas to test with users.
- Iterate designs based on user feedback to enhance the overall user experience.
- Conduct product testing to identify bottlenecks, broken features, or usability challenges.
- Maintain consistency in design by organizing and managing UI libraries and assets for the development team.
- Ensure branding consistency and adherence to UI best practices across all platforms.
- Design responsive and user-friendly interfaces that align with our brand identity.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of designs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work and process.
- Tools: Proficiency in Figma and Miro is required. Experience with other tools (e.g. Sketch, Adobe XD, Mixpanel) is a plus.
- Skills: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards. Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a user-first mindset.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
