An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Supply Chain Electronics to join a leading organisation at the forefront of the electronics industry in KL.
What you'll do:
As Head of Supply Chain Electronics based in KL, you will play a central role in orchestrating the entire supply chain ecosystem for a prominent player in the electronics industry.- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies and ensure seamless integration across procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution functions.
- Collaborate extensively with other teams and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and project deliverables.
- Drive process optimisation initiatives by identifying areas for improvement within existing workflows, leveraging technology solutions, and promoting best practices across all supply chain activities.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant legal requirements and industry standards while upholding ethical practices throughout every stage of the supply chain
- Guide, nurture, and support the supply chain team, fostering an environment of cooperation, growth, and shared success.
- Promote continuous improvement by encouraging feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine existing processes.
What you bring:
To excel as Head of Supply Chain (Electronics) you will bring substantial experience overseeing end-to-end operations within complex manufacturing environments—ideally within electronics or similar fast-moving industries.- Extensive experience in managing complex supply chains within the electronics or related manufacturing sectors
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans that align with broader business objectives while balancing short-term needs with long-term growth initiatives.
- Strong background in supplier relationship management including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and issue resolution across international markets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams as well as clear communication with senior stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of risk management principles
- Experience implementing sustainability initiatives within supply chains such as responsible sourcing or waste reduction programmes is highly desirable.
