Content Marketing Executive (Mandarin Speaker, Based In Penang)

We are looking for a creative and proactive Content Marketing Executive to drive our brand's presence across key social platforms, including Xiaohongshu, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

In this role, you will take ownership of content creation including stepping in front of the camera while also managing KOC/influencer partnerships and driving the execution of our e-commerce marketing campaigns.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, or related fields is preferred, but not required.
  • Candidates with relevant experience or strong portfolios are encouraged to apply.
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and Malay (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with our target audiences, influencers, and internal teams.
  • Comfortable and confident making regular on-camera appearances for brand content.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills
  • Basic video editing skills (e.g. CapCut or similar)
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva or Photoshop)
  • Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Social Media
  • Plan, create, and publish content across Xiaohongshu (小红书), Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Execute content filming and video production end-to-end, including making regular on-camera appearances as the face of the brand.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, platform best practices, campaign messaging, and the target audience
  • Organize and manage content assets (photos, videos) systematically for easy retrieval and reuse by the team.
Influencer & Affiliate Management
  • Plan and manage relationships with KOCs, influencers, and affiliate partners. This includes sourcing, coordination, and tracking deliverables to ensure they meet campaign goals and timelines.
  • Review external content to ensure it aligns with brand standards and communicates accurate product information.
  • Drive the onboarding and coordination of live hosts and creators when required.
Campaign Execution
  • Drive the rollout of marketing campaigns across both online and offline channels, ensuring ongoing initiatives are delivered effectively.
  • Identify and explore new collaboration opportunities with relevant brands and industry partners.
  • Support campaign setups on Webstore, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth, end-to-end and timely campaign delivery.
  • Manage ad hoc marketing tasks and initiatives as required.
