Retail Assistant Cum Cashier
Wmart Kuala Lumpur Full-time
Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in retail or cashiering is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math and computer skills for cashiering tasks.
- Honest, responsible, and able to work in a team.
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, or public holidays
- Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and provide product informationor recommendations.
- Operate the cash register, process payments (cash, card, e-wallet), andissue receipts.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints in a polite and professional manner.
- Replenish and arrange stock on shelves to maintain a clean and tidy display.
- Monitor product expiry dates and ensure proper product rotation (FIFO).
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing new inventory or deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the cashier counter and store area.
- Perform daily cash balancing and ensure accurate end-of-day sales reporting.
- Support promotional activities or seasonal displays as required.
- Follow company policies and procedures including loss prevention and safety guidelines.
