Education: Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with at least 1 year of relevant accounting experience will have an added advantage
  • Language: Proficient in English (minimum credit in SPM or equivalent); ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and/or other languages is an advantage
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and accounting software will be preferred
  • Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, responsible, organized, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Other Requirements: Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced working environment
  1. Accounts Payable
  • Perform checking on supplier invoices and delivery order received from purchasing department.
  • Ensure goods received (GR) are done by receiving team before capture supplier invoice into accounting system.
  • Prepare weekly report on outstanding GR status.
  • Request monthly statement of accounts from suppliers for reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly supplier payment listing.
  • Staff claim entry
  • Assist Accounts Executives on tasks assigned.
  1. Accounts Receivable
  • Prepare sales invoice and delivery order (DO).
  • Ensure sales tax is imposed correctly on HS code selected by sales personnel.
  • Follow up with sales personnel on acknowledged DO.
  • Monitor job numbers and deactivate inactive job numbers, when required.
  • Monitor and follow up with customers on payment collection.
  • Prepare official receipt upon receive funds and payment receipt from customers.
  • Prepare weekly report on customer outstanding payment status.
  • Prepare weekly report on outstanding DO status.
  • Prepare and send monthly statement of account to customers.
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of billing related matters.
  • Perform inter-companies monthly billing.
  • Assist Senior Accounts Executives on tasks assigned.
  1. Update daily foreign currency exchange rate in accounting system.
  2. Responsible for Accounting filing and documentation.
  3. Handle other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
