HUMAN RESOURCE and GENERAL AFFAIR MANAGER

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of MSSC Sdn Bhd, focusing on a 100-employee manufacturing environment.
- Oversee all general affairs functions, including facility management, security, transportation, and office administration, to ensure smooth daily operations at the Kapar, Selangor site.
- Manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, and HR compliance, adhering to Malaysian labor laws.
- Develop and manage the HR and General Affairs budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation to support company objectives.
- Lead and mentor the HR and General Affairs team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to HR and general affairs in Malaysia, including safety regulations within the manufacturing plant.
- Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations issues, mediating conflicts and promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and service providers for general affairs, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery.
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives by providing insights on workforce planning, organizational development, and operational efficiency from an HR and General Affairs perspective.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in both Human Resources and General Affairs management, preferably within the manufacturing or steel industry.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of MSSC Sdn Bhd, focusing on talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and retention within the manufacturing/production environment.
- Oversee and manage all general affairs functions, including facilities management, office administration, procurement of supplies and services, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for all 100 employees at the Kapar, Selangor facility.
- Lead and manage the HR and General Affairs department, fostering a high-performance culture and providing guidance and mentorship to the team, while ensuring compliance with Malaysian labor laws and company policies.
- Manage the annual HR and General Affairs budget, including payroll, benefits administration, training and development programs, and operational expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or employee welfare.
- Establish and maintain strong employee relations, addressing grievances, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive and productive workplace culture through effective communication and engagement programs.
- Develop and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, including HR consultants, legal advisors, and maintenance contractors, ensuring favorable terms and high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to human resources and general affairs, including employment contracts, work permits, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Contribute to strategic planning by providing insights on workforce planning, organizational development, and operational efficiency improvements from an HR and General Affairs perspective.
