What you'll do:
As a Power Platform Developer based in Kuala Lumpur, you will immerse yourself in a variety of projects aimed at transforming finance operations through automation and digital innovation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve working closely with managers and stakeholders across different departments to design bespoke solutions using industry-leading platforms.You will analyse financial data to build models and reports that empower leadership with actionable insights. By coordinating with diverse teams, you will help identify opportunities for process optimisation while ensuring all changes adhere to governance standards.
Your expertise in developing dashboards will be crucial in tracking progress on modernisation efforts. Additionally, you will play an important role in testing new systems before they go live and providing ongoing support during change management initiatives.

- Support the design, development, and implementation of tailored solutions within finance functions using tools such as PowerApps, PowerBI, Power Automate, Alteryx, and Power Query to streamline processes.
- Coordinate activities across finance functions to identify areas for system and process enhancements, recommending actionable improvements for management consideration.
- Conduct thorough User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that implemented solutions meet user requirements before official release.
- Support project planning efforts by ensuring tasks are executed efficiently and delivered within established timelines.
- Proactively communicate any concerns or unresolved issues that could impact project delivery to relevant managers.
- Develop dashboards that capture progress on finance modernisation initiatives for regular management review.
- Create interactive financial reports that enable stakeholders to visualise key metrics and trends effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, Actuarial, and other finance disciplines to drive system improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
