Account Executive - Kajang

Education:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Part or full ACCA, CIMA, or MIA qualification is an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in retail or trading.
• Experience in inventory-based accounting is highly desirable.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations and tax requirements (SST, EPF, SOCSO, etc.).
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., ERP, or equivalent).
• Good command of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualities:

• Familiarity with the furniture or household goods industry.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Willingness to take on additional roles in a growing retail environment.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin is a bonus
• Handle full set of accounts including GL, AR, AP, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Manage inventory costing and assist with stock control processes.
• Ensure timely submission of SST, EPF, SOCSO, and other statutory payments.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and government bodies when required.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Assist with internal financial audits and process improvements.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records.
• Handle e-invoicing requirements in compliance with LHDN guidelines and ensure timely issuance of digital invoices.
• Basic Salary: RM3,000 – RM3,500
