Undertake end-to-end development of a range of products for all distribution channels and provide technical & business support on takaful products as well as to improve the company’s overall efficiency on product-related issues.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Detailed write-up of Product Specification, Certificate document, Product Illustrations, Marketing Brochure & others relevant documents for internal approval (i.e. Product Implementation Committee and Product Steering Committee).
• To coordinate with other relevant divisions on the deployment of product to go Live once Management provide the sign off.
• Preparing of relevant documents for submission to Board of Directors, Shariah Committee (SC), Regional office (GPAC) and Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).
• Support with Distribution and partners who distribute the products on relevant approval process and documentation.
• To help conduct UAT for Certificate Document and product Illustration System Development for all new and enhanced products development
• To support with functional development teams across PIC teams comprising Ops, IT, Partnership Distribution, Compliance, Marketing etc on implementation of products.
• To assist on the marketing collaterals development i.e. Sales Proposition, Sales Pitch etc.
• To assist on compliance related matters to all regulated areas of product development, sales materials, illustrations, etc.
• Effective communication of compliance issues/ actions required to all affected parties.
• To implement the regulatory requirements as and when is relevant to product documents and processes.
• To support the UAT with Operations and IT teams on the enhancement of existing takaful product structure especially on the business rules relevant to products that have been launched

Job Requirements:

• Relevant professional qualification and / or degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, or other related quantitative studies.
• Technical knowledge in Life Insurance/Family Takaful product. Relevant knowledge in the BNM guidelines related to products is necessary. Knowledge in end-to-end development of products including system behavior is a must.
• Essential Knowledge in Shariah Application to Takaful or Islamic Finance will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, statistical skills, project management skills a must.
• Excellent English writing and communication skills are required.
