This position requires an Electrical & Automation Engineer to focus on the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of automated production line. This role requires a strong technical background in automated manufacturing systems, with expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues to ensure continuous and efficient production.

• Automation Machinery Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform regular maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of automated solenoid production machinery (e.g., coil winding machines, forming machines). Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in automated systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Japanese PLCs (Omron, Mitsubishi, Keyence, etc.) and control systems for air cylinders, electric cylinders, and robotic systems. Perform robot maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments.
• Production Support & Optimization: Oversee the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of automated solenoid production machinery. Optimize automated production processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction. Monitor and analyze production KPIs (yield rate, downtime, cycle time, etc.) to identify areas for automation improvement. Identify bottlenecks in automated processes and implement solutions for improved output.
• Technical Support & Maintenance: Provide technical guidance to production operators and technicians on automated systems. Support preventative maintenance planning for automated production equipment. Troubleshoot electrical and electronic control issues in automated assembly equipment.
• Reporting & Coordination: Coordinate with the Production Manager and cross-functional teams (QA, Procurement, and Planning) to ensure seamless integration of automated systems. Prepare production reports and recommend automation improvements.

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an automation engineering role within a manufacturing/production environment ; experience in solenoid, motor, or electronic component production is a plus.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in programming Japanese PLCs (Omron, Mitsubishi, Keyence, etc.). Expertise in the control design of air cylinders and electric cylinders, and robot setup and adjustment. Experience in factory automation (FA) design and robot programming. Proficiency in reading CAD drawings.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset. Effective communication and leadership skills to train and support production staff
• Language: English and Mandarin proficiency is required (dealing with China clients)
