AV Technician
DOREMi Sound & Light Sdn Bhd Kuala Lumpur Full-time
Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an AV Technician, demonstrating proficiency in sound system installation, LED display installation, technical support and troubleshooting.
- Strong technical skills in audio and visual system, equipment maintenance and sound system setup.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to audio and visual equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and diagrams to facilitate effective troubleshooting and repairs.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (added advantage) to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of current audio and visual technologies and trends, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Install, configure and maintain audio-visual equipment including sound systems, microphones, speakers, projectors and video conferencing systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose AV equipment malfunctions, performing repairs or coordinating with external vendors for specialized repairs.
- Able to operate sound systems for various events, including adjusting audio levels, mixing sound, and ensuring optimal sound quality. (Added advantage)
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity, including cleaning, testing and replacing components as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AV technologies and trends, recommending and implementing upgrades or improvements to existing systems.
