Brand Activation & Events Executive (Mandarin Speaker, Based in Penang)

As we expand our presence in both online and offline retail, we are looking for a passionate individual to help bring our brand closer to families through events, activations, and community engagement.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Brand Activation & Events Executive who will be responsible for planning and executing brand activities that connect Teemi with parents and children.
This role focuses on events, retail activations, community programs, and brand experiences that strengthen Teemi’s presence in the market.

RESPONSIBILITY:
Event Planning & Execution- Plan and execute brand events such as roadshows, mall activations, school events, and parenting workshops
- Coordinate event logistics including venue, vendors, setup, manpower, and materials
- Ensure all events deliver a positive and memorable brand experience
- Support retail partners with in-store events and promotional activations
- Coordinate product demonstrations and engagement activities at retail locations
- Assist in executing seasonal campaigns such as Back-to-School events
- Organize parent-child activities and community programs aligned with Teemi’s mission
- Support initiatives under the WeCare program and other brand engagement activities
- Collaborate with parent communities and education-related partners
- Work closely with the marketing team to execute brand campaigns and product launch events
- Assist in planning event schedules, timelines, and educational activities
- Source and coordinate with event vendors and service providers
- Manage quotations, event budgets, and cost control
- Ensure smooth event execution within budget and timeline
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Event Management, Mass Comm, Business, or related field
- Plus point: 1–3 years experience in event management, brand activation, retail marketing, or marketing execution
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and event timelines efficiently
- Good communication and vendor coordination skills
- Willing to work on weekends when events are scheduled
- Willing to travel occasionally within Malaysia when required
- Able to communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
