Our client is a prominent European luxury house preparing to launch its new high-end apparel brand in Malaysia. The brand is positioned at the upper echelon of the luxury fashion market, defined by its modern design and exceptional quality for a discerning clientele.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially-driven Marketing Manager to spearhead the brand's complete commercial operations in Malaysia. This is a key leadership position with full P&L ownership, extending beyond traditional marketing to include strategic retail expansion and P.R. The role is responsible for architecting and executing the business strategy to establish strong brand equity and drive profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the brand’s P&L, holding full accountability for revenue growth and profitability.
  • Architect and execute the go-to-market strategy for a successful brand launch and sustained market growth.
  • Direct the annual integrated marketing plan across all key channels, including digital, events, and in-store activations.
  • Drive the brand's P.R. and communications strategy to build a powerful and positive brand image in the market.
  • Lead the retail expansion strategy, from market analysis and site selection to the successful launch of new stores.
  • Manage the A&P budget with a focus on maximizing ROI and reinforcing the brand's premium positioning.
  • Conduct insightful analysis of sales performance, market trends, and competitor landscapes to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with regional and global headquarters to ensure strategic alignment and brand consistency.
Requirements
  • A strong track record of 8-10+ years in brand management or senior marketing roles, with significant experience in the luxury goods or high-end retail sector.
  • Demonstrated P&L management experience with strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Proven success in building brands and executing successful new product or brand launches.
  • Direct experience in retail strategy, including network expansion and site selection.
  • Exceptional strategic planning and business development skills.
  • Expertise in managing 360-degree marketing campaigns, including digital and P.R.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
