Business development manager (industrial) - Kluang

We are looking for a talented Business Development Manager for a established MNC that specializes in industrial rotating equipment manufacturing services.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships
• Conduct market research, trend analysis, and competitor benchmarking
• Develop and execute strategies for business growth and market expansion
• Manage the end-to-end sales process: lead generation, proposals, negotiations, and closures
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers
• Collaborate with Proposal Engineers for technically and commercially sound bids
• Support marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and penetrate new markets
• Ensure operations align with ISO standards and internal compliance procedures
• Review purchase orders for accuracy and highlight any issues or risks
• Guide, train, and motivate junior sales team members
• Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings

• Bachelor’s degree/ diploma or equivalent sales training or experience.
• Availability for regular business travel within Malaysia.
• Extensive business-to-business sales experience, preferably in similar industries.
• Excellent planning & organizational skills.
