Trade ambassador (premium spirits)

We are currently looking for a Trade Ambassador for one of the world's largest privately held premium spirits companies. This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur and focuses on building brand advocacy, elevating cocktail culture, and driving commercial success across the premium on-trade sector.

• Team size: sole contributor
• Join a globally celebrated spirits powerhouse in a highly visible, lifestyle-driven role to be the definitive face and voice of an iconic portfolio across Malaysia’s top bars and clubs.

• Serve as the definitive face and voice of a massive portfolio of over 200 premium spirits, expanding brand availability and securing coveted cocktail listings in Malaysia’s most influential bars and clubs.
• Host high-profile industry events, guest shifts, and pairing dinners to embody the brand's energy and elevate its presence across the premium hospitality scene.
• Deliver impactful masterclasses and training sessions to bar staff and trade professionals, elevating brand knowledge and ensuring the flawless execution of perfect serves.
• Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to design, execute, and track best-in-class trade advocacy programs that drive measurable commercial results.
• Manage a dedicated portfolio of top-tier on-trade key accounts, building deep partnerships to maximize visibility, menu placements, and brand loyalty

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the alcohol or bar industry, ideally within a premium or craft cocktail environment.
• Has an existing network within the local bar, nightlife, and hospitality community.
• In-depth knowledge of the premium spirits category and cocktail culture, coupled with the charisma to inspire, educate, and present confidently on stage.
• Highly independent, self-driven, and socially savvy, with the flexibility to travel and work dynamically during evenings and nightlife events.
